Why is Disability Insurance Important?

 48% of ALL Home Foreclosures in the United States are the result of a disability.  Disability is 16 times more likely than death

to cause a foreclosure on a home.  1

77.4% of Americans ages 22-64 who suffer from a disability

do not receive any public assistance.  2

 A 35 year old male is almost  to have a long 5 times more likelyterm disability than to die prior to age 65.  3
 
A 35 year old female is almost 10 times more likely to have a long term disability than to die prior to age 65.  3
